Announcing Silverstripe CMS 4.6.0-rc1

The Silverstripe CMS Squad has just released Silverstripe CMS 4.6.0-rc1.

This marks the change freeze for the Silverstripe CMS 4.6.0 release. Only security patches and critical bugfixes will be accepted into the 4.6.0 stable release from this point on. Take a look at the Silverstripe CMS release documentation if you’d like to understand the release process in detail.

Review the Silverstripe CMS 4.6.0-rc1 change logs for the full list of changes. Please note that some bugs have been fixed since 4.6.0-beta1, but the overview content remains the same.

The 4.6.0-rc1 release is intended for testing and preview purposes only, and should not be installed on production sites. It will soon undergo a security audit and regression testing, after which we will tag the 4.6.0 stable release. We are on track to ship June-end/early-July.

We would greatly appreciate support from the community in testing this release and reporting any issues on GitHub (making sure you include 4.6.0-rc1 as the affected version.) Thanks for your time!
