Dataobject ownership in html content

Silverstripe Version:
4.03, 4.1
Question:
Image assets in HTMLText fields belonging to dataobjects are not being published.
https://docs.silverstripe.org/en/4/developer_guides/model/versioning/#dataobject-ownership-in-html-content
suggests otherwise, am testing with versioned dataobjects and the images inserted/uploaded via the editor are not published. The dataobjects are saved via the “publish” button.
It works correctly on SiteTree types though, so the difference might be the way publish is called on versioned dataobjects vs sitetree?

With a few discussions about how best to implement it.

It’s being worked on right now by the infamous @TractorCow :slight_smile: Will be in the 4.2.0 release.
