Dev/Build issue — disappearing site

Silverstripe Version: 4.7

Question:

Noob issue. I installed Elemental Embedded code module today on my site and when I ran dev/build my site disappears. I am getting a HTTP 500 Error Code. Any idea why this happens?

The best place to start is the server logs. There should be some error messages there.
Also, if this is a developement site, make sure the environment is set to ‘dev’, which will show warnings and errors, etc. (Add SS_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE="dev" in your .env file)

Thank you for the heads up. I did end up finding the sources of the issue in the logs and was able to bring the site back online. Much appreciated.
