Question:
I am not a professional and I use silverstripe as an archive. Now I try to easily download some files from the filedirectory, but I don’t know how to do that.
I don’t see button for downloads. Does somebody know how I can fix this?

// Include any relevant code. If you have a lot of code, link to a gist instead.

Do you mean the uploaded files that you can see under the Files section in the CMS?

I don’t think you can bulk download those files from the CMS, but you could download them all at once through FTP, or perhaps zip the assets directory in to a single file and download it, but you would do that either through your web hosting control panel or by SSHing in to your web server, not through the CMS.

For individual files you can open them in the Files section, then you should see a URL to access the original file. You could download the file by right clicking that link and choosing ‘save as’.
