Get a list of possible template candidates

Question:

First project using SS 4.
I understand (I think) how template inheritance works in SS, and I like it.
What I have found complicated is to get a list of all the possible candidates for a given override.

So my question:

How can I get a full list of possible template candidates for a given page?
