How can I add a new page type?

Hi, i’ve tried creating a new page type following this tutorial: https://www.silverstripe.org/learn/lessons/v4/working-with-multiple-templates-1
But when i dev/build I can’t see anything new.
I would like to create new pages like the log-in page, news…but I’m stucked here. Thanks
