Internal Hyperlink with localized Page

My site has two languages DE and FR.

In the content of my DE Page, I wanted to create a hyperlink which points to a FR page.

Since it is an internal Link, I use the “Edit Link” option to select the page.

Then on the dialog box, select the page, but alas, these pages are only the pages of DE, and none of the FR pages which I actually want to link with.

Are there any options to link my FR page from a DE page?
ie. Where do I add my locale on the link?

I assume you’re using the fluent module for your localisation?

I don’t think there is a module that provides “link to a page on this site in another locale”.

I can think of two options:

  1. Create your own TinyMCE plugin
    You could look at the “page on this site” link plugin to see how these are put toghether
  2. Use the “Link to external URL” link option with a link to the page in the correct locale - though note that if you change the URL segment for the linked page, or move it, you’ll need to update the link.
