MigrateFilesTask - Upgrading SilverStripe 3 to SilverStripe 5

Question:

I understand the MigrateFilesTask has been deprecated in SilverStripe 5.
Is there any recommended process for managing this when upgrading to SS5?
Perhaps i’ve overseen it in the documentation, but I can’t seem to find any mention of it. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Upgrade to version 4 first. That’s where most of the significant changes take place in terms of code, etc.
Once that’s done, the 4 - 5 upgrade should be relatively straightforward.
